The Role
Overview
Administers workers comp program, supports claims, training, and OSHA reporting on site.

Tasks
-Help resolve workers compensation claims with solutions that are consistent with Hoffman’s values. -Submit claim paperwork to the appropriate carrier and team. -Help track and report OSHA 300 information within the department (training provided if needed) -Help with scheduling trainings for project teams for best practices, pre- and post-injury. -Maintain all aspects of Hoffman’s Workers Compensation Program, including regulatory compliance and daily claims oversight. (Training provided) -Participate in necessary trainings and workshops that pertain to workers compensation. -Assist employees in navigating their claim, as needed.

What You Bring
-Ability to work closely with variety of trade and craft people in a field work situation. Patience and professionalism are essential. -Sight - Visual acuity in near, mid, and far range vision. Color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, hand/eye coordination. -Hearing: sufficient to hear conversational levels in person and over the telephone; sufficient to hear alarms on equipment. -Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling – rarely. -High School diploma or GED required. -Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills. -Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships. -Must have good communication skills and work well with others at all times. -Must use creativity, independent judgment, and organizational and problem-solving skills to determine best method to accomplish desired results. -Must be able to work independently, make decisions, and follow through on all assignments. -Must be able to plan and organize work -Lifting/Carrying - minimal. -Bending/Twisting – minimal. -Must be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate with various personnel within and across departments and at all levels of leadership. -Hands/Arms - Constant use of hands/fingers for mouse/keyboard/computer use. -Constant mental alertness, accuracy, and attention to detail required. -A minimum of three (3) years’ administrative support experience required. -Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work while frequently interrupted by phone calls and questions on work in progress. -Speech sufficient to make oneself heard in person, speak in front of groups, and be understood over the telephone and radio. -Must possess strong organizational and computer use skills and have a high level of competency to read/write/speak English, interpret construction related documentation and communicate with coworkers. -Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Teams), and have a general understanding of working within a computer network. -Ability to work well and maintain a cooperative attitude through high-pressure situations.
