Tasks

-Prepare comprehensive dashboards and reports on compliance performance, trends, and strategic initiatives. -Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is up-to-date. -Foster a culture of compliance and continuous learning within the team. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects and initiatives. -Develop and deliver training programs to ensure team members are knowledgeable about current regulations and best practices. -Document processes, policies, and procedures related to customs compliance. -Provide timely updates and insights to the Global Customs team and other stakeholders. -Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the customs compliance function. -Engage with external partners, such as customs brokers and regulatory agencies, to stay informed about changes in regulations and best practices. -Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet compliance goals. -Develop and implement strategic compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to global trade regulations. -Represent the company in industry forums and working groups related to customs compliance. -Work closely with internal stakeholders & functional work groups (i.e. Logistics, Sourcing & Supply Chain, and Legal) to align compliance strategies with business goals. -Monitor and analyze changes in international trade regulations and customs laws. -Develop strategies to address new regulatory requirements and ensure ongoing compliance. -Lead and manage compliance-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. -Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in customs compliance and propose strategic solutions. -Provide training and support to the Global Customs team on compliance-related matters.

What You Bring

-Strong project management and leadership skills. -Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs compliance or a related field, with a focus on strategic planning and project management. -Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist) preferred. -Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs processes. -Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. -Proven experience in a global trade environment. -Experience with customs software, regulatory compliance, and project management. -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. -Licensed Customs Broker, preferred. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, customs management systems, and regulatory compliance tools. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
