Tasks

-Producing information standards, methods and procedures, and shared resources. -Responsible for the production of the information model. (Pre-RIBA Stage 3 only) -Monitoring digital handover to completion. -Implementing governance and assurance processes. -Developing BIM execution plan (BEP). -Developing the client's digital handover strategy. -Raising job requisitions to identify and recruit new talent for the BIM team. -Reviewing Autodesk construction cloud account management and stay up to date on the latest Autodesk developments. -Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. -Participating in industry events to stay up to date on the latest BIM developments. -Supporting construction sequencing strategy using information models. -Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work. -Producing information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR and EIR) as per ISO 19650. -Developing and maintains a series of both internal and external relationships. -Responsible for the assurance and checking of the information model. -Researching compliance with new regulations and governance. -Identifying and implements continuous improvement plans/identifies key business improvements. -Reviewing current technology solutions and research new solutions that can be used to improve the BIM process including emerging technologies. -Assessing the current resources on current projects to ensure that they are sufficient to meet the project goals. -Leads and supervises, persuades and influences, creates and innovates, presents and communicates. -Supporting the project team throughout the project lifecycle. -Managing and influences key/senior stakeholders. -Developing and maintains an understanding of ISO19650 and any applicable standards for clients. -Responsible for object library development in alignment with wider BIM Strategy. -Provides training on using databases, analysing data, creating templates, conducting assurance, COBie production, and other BIM-related topics. -Supporting Mace cost team in preparation of cost plans from information models. -Conducting interviews to assess the skills and experience of potential candidates for BIM roles. -Upskilling the client team, Mace project managers and design team by running BIM knowledge sharing sessions. -Collaborating with Mace PM and design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace Way. -Ensuring security protocols have been followed for viewing and issuing of information on all projects.

-Level 6 qualifications (or equivalent) -Validation and verification tools. -Degree apprenticeship, degree with honours - for example bachelor of the arts (BA) hons, Bachelor of Science (BSc) hons, graduate certificate, graduate diploma, level 6 award, level 6 certificate, level 6 diploma, level 6 NVQ. -Autodesk desktop products. -Autodesk cloud products. -Advanced understanding of ISO19650, BS1192, common data environment (CDE), IFC, COBie, and classifications. -Visualisation Tools. -Personal effectiveness, plans and organises, collaborates and networks, solves problems, adapts and responds to change, delivers results and exceeds clients’ expectations.
