Field Canvassing Team Lead

Overview

Lead a team of field canvassers to generate sales leads and brand awareness.

Tasks

-Identify, schedule, and plan route calendar (including evenings and weekends) for team of Field Canvassers in assigned territory. -Drive canvassing-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representative follow up. -Performs work outside in varying temperatures and climates. -Responsible for exceeding sales lead quotas based upon established KPIs. -Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of Field Canvassers and create accountability through established marketing goals and KPIs. -Manage a multi-team territory to generate customer lead generation. -Work closely with the Field Canvassing Manager to collaborate with the local Operations and Installation Mangers to grow brand presence within the local market. -Track and report canvassing lead generation metrics to evaluate performance and ROI of territory. -Manage permit requirements in assigned territories to ensure compliance with local ordinances and regulations.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for canvassing and direct to consumer field marketing. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first. -2+ years of management experience in field canvassing for direct-to-consumer industry. -Local travel required. -Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball.” -Experience in lead generation, experiential marketing, and/or field canvassing. -Ability to work outside in varying climates. -Ability to work evenings and/or weekends. -Experience recruiting, onboarding, and training marketing, canvassing, and/or event staff. -Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection. -Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). -Experience in customer service and/or sales. -Home improvement knowledge and/or experience. -Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “win every day” mentality. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately. -Detail-oriented and can focus on task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion. -Previous door-to-door canvassing experience.
