Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Overview

Perform maintenance, troubleshoot, repair and install production equipment on 2nd shift.

Tasks

-Inspect, test, and operate machinery and equipment prior to releasing to manufacturing. -Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. -Associate Purchase Program on All Fortune Brands Products -Adheres to Larson’s safety guidelines. -Repair and maintain machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment. -Troubleshoot equipment breakdown problems. -Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. -Work would include, but not be limited to, replacing electrical components, motors, installing belts, tightening nuts and bolts, adjusting, and aligning rolls and rollers, replacing defective parts. -Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair work on AC and DC motors and controls. -Perform plant maintenance, repair, and installation tasks.

What You Bring

-Ability to navigate via PLC operation sequence, I/O information, and instrumentation feedback (preferred). -Ability to use email and a computer maintenance management system (CMMS) is required. -Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics. -Strong troubleshooting skills -Ability to work independently as well as part of a group. -Basic machining and welding skills. -Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.
