Account Executive

Overview

Handles full set accounting duties including AP, AR, GL, reporting, and tax compliance.

Tasks

-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports and statements. -Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards. -Process payments to suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors in accordance with agreed terms. -Support budgeting, forecasting, and system improvements. -Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, and audit requirements. -Prepare payment vouchers and process online payment transactions. -Manage progress claims and coordinate with project teams for billing accuracy. -Process journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and perform bank reconciliations. -Monitor aging reports, collections, and cash flow. -Prepare and issue customer invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments. -Reconcile creditor statements and retention balances by project. -Assist with cash flow forecasting and fund management. -Match tax invoices with payment response certificates. -Handle full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions. -Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities (GST, CPF, IRAS, etc.). -Maintain proper filing and documentation of all accounting records. -Update payment response and subcontractor accrual lists. -Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and delivery orders for accuracy. -Perform ad-hoc tasks or assignments as directed by management or the finance department.

What You Bring

-Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the construction or engineering industry. -Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. -Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification. -Meticulous, organized, and able to work independently under tight deadlines. -Familiar with financial audit processes and Singapore accounting and tax regulations.
