Overview
Lead structural engineering for nuclear projects, managing analysis, design, and mentoring.

Tasks
-Leading the preparation of bids and estimates. -Review analysis of other members of staff. -Produce high quality documentation tailored to the specific stage of project completion. -Conduct analysis with appropriate verification and validation. -Attending site or other offices to complete surveys or attend meetings. -Work within a multidiscipline environment ensuring effective communication with project stakeholders. -Lead analysis teams on projects. -Develop the skills of junior members of staff. -Produce and review of design calculations supporting analysis.

What You Bring
-Experience of the design of concrete and steel structures. -Knowledge of American design standards. -Experience of leading and managing projects from concept to completion. -Chartership with either the Institution of Civil or Structural Engineers and extensive post graduate experience. -Experience in Soil-Structure-Interaction (SSI). -Strong knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes. -Experience working in the nuclear sector. -Experience in dynamic loading design. -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in client-facing roles. -An understanding of the contribution of analysis to nuclear Safety Cases. -Detailed understanding of Finite Element Analysis and software. -Experience using LS-DYNA. -Experience using SAP2000 or ANSYS. -Experience of delivering projects in a highly regulated industry.
