Design, develop, and maintain web-based training and eLearning content for FAA.

Tasks

-Plan, analyze, and design interactive eLearning modules, simulations, and online training materials that enhance learner engagement and retention. -Develop courseware for web-based delivery that is accessible, responsive, and compliant with FAA and Section 508 accessibility requirements. -Edit and test all content for functionality, operational integrity, and error-free performance. -Design, develop, and maintain website interfaces for training-related applications and content delivery. -Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, spreadsheets, etc.) into dynamic, easily maintained web designs. -Apply desktop publishing concepts and methods for layout, formatting, and presentation of online materials. -Conceptualize and implement computer graphics and animations to support eLearning modules and web interfaces. -Application of quality assurance principles to ensure usability, accessibility, and performance of web-based learning materials. -Develop and incorporate graphics, animations, and multimedia elements using design tools such as Adobe Photoshop®, Illustrator®, and Camtasia®. -Development and implementation of web interfaces, graphics, and layouts using design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Camtasia. -Conduct testing and quality assurance reviews of all eLearning projects to ensure functionality, usability, and accessibility compliance. -Troubleshoot, debug, and implement website and courseware code as required. -Develop and produce eLearning content and digital training materials for delivery through a Learning Management System (LMS) using industry-standard applications such as Articulate® Storyline, Adobe Captivate®, or comparable tools. -Ensure all web content adheres to FAA branding, security, and configuration management standards. -Revise and maintain current and future distance-learning courses, ensuring alignment with FAA objectives and standards. -Work with graphic artists and project teams to develop site concepts, interface designs, and architecture for training websites and online portals. -Collaborate with FAA personnel, SMEs, and instructional designers to confirm technical accuracy while maintaining the original intent of content. -Maintain documentation, configuration control, and version tracking for all digital learning assets.

What You Bring

-Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary development team. -Web-based course development using current eLearning development software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar). -Must be able to pass a background investigation and meet FAA security requirements. -Strong computer literacy and ability to stay current with emerging technologies and digital learning trends. -Expertise in eLearning design tools (Articulate Storyline, Captivate, etc.) and graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite). -Required: High School Diploma or GED -U.S. Citizenship required. -Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and web-based content management principles. -LG2 Environmental Solutions (LG2) -Strong understanding of web design best practices, user experience (UX), and interface design. -Ability to work on-site at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) and collaborate with FAA and contractor staff. -Documented formal training in eLearning development and/or design. -Writing, editing, and proofreading eLearning content with emphasis on clarity, accuracy, and instructional effectiveness. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. -Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in web and multimedia environments.
