The Role

Overview

Provide customer service and handle parts/warehouse duties including orders, shipping, inventory.

Tasks

-Coordinate activities with other Parts or Warehouse staff -Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling material packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area for shipment -Identify damages, lost, or surplus materials stored in the warehouse -Maintains quality service by following organization standards -Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute appropriately -Maintains lift truck by completing preventive maintenance inspection sheets -Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing receipts -Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the warehouse -Stock merchandise racks -Maintain excellent customer service -Occasional duties assisting customers on parts counter -Check merchandise and affix barcode labels -Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from customer locations -Carry out any tasks as assigned by the Parts Manager -Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules and regulations -Sort merchandise according to size and/or product code

What You Bring

-Proficient with a computer, including the use of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) -Must have High School Diploma or equivalent -Must be able to pass a background, physical, and drug screen -Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in shipping/receiving, parts or warehouse environment, heavy equipment industry experience a plus. -Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, push, pull, twist and carry and lift up to 70lbs. -Excellent written and oral communication and basic mathematical skills.
