Graduate Engineer assisting with substation design, calculations, and drafting.

Tasks

-Effectively communicates and interacts with clients to ensure we are meeting their needs. -Practices efficiency engineering as it pertains to design selection. -Applies current, standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to complete engineering tasks. -Prepares reports and correspondence concerning the direction of assigned projects. -May participate in marketing, sales and business development activities within assigned market. -Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality. -Performs detailed engineering design and evaluations within specialty. -Works closely with engineering technicians and experienced electrical engineers. -Develops plans, specifications, and observation reports to see that these items are complete, accurate and in accordance with sound engineering practice. -Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline.

What You Bring

-Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access). -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required. ABET accredited program or equivalent required. -Engineering internship experience preferred. -Demonstrates a wide degree of creativity and latitude. -Electrical power systems coursework preferred. -Must have authorization to work permanently in the US. -Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire. -Up to 15% travel required.
