  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior technical team members to build internal SAP EAM capability.
  • Manage Maintenance: Planning, Testing, and Inspections
  • Oversee SAP EAM processes, including:
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP EAM production support, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
  • Support technical requirements for regulatory compliance reporting for utility authorities.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure scalability, reliability, and regulatory compliance of all EAM solutions.
  • Manage Spatial Data: Spatial Data Synchronization and Alignment
  • Manage Resources: External Contractors, Internal Employees
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP EAM with SAP for Utilities (IS-U) and other SAP modules including SCM, MM, and FI/CO.
  • Lead design, development, and deployment of SAP EAM solutions aligned with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Develop and oversee technical roadmaps and solution architectures for EAM initiatives in collaboration with functional leads.
  • Manage Work: Work Lifecycle, Scheduling, Dispatch, Mobile Work Execution
  • Lead technical configuration and integration of Linear Asset Management (LAM) for managing linear assets such as power lines and pipelines.
  • Manage Assets: Master Data Governance, Asset Lifecycle/Traceability
  • Design and implement integration between SAP EAM and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to connect spatial and asset master data.

Our client, a leading Energy & Utilities organization, is seeking an SAP EAM Technical Lead to drive the technical architecture, development, and implementation of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions. This role is key in optimizing asset lifecycle management and ensuring seamless integration across enterprise systems within a complex utility environment.

  • Certifications: SAP EAM certification preferred. PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach certifications are a plus.
  • Integration experience across EAM, EPPM, FI/CO, IS-U, and GIS systems.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP S/4HANA EAM, including configuration and customization.
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of asset lifecycles from construction and commissioning through operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in SAP EAM/PM/CS with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
  • Must reside in one of the following states: DE, MD, PA, NC, NJ, VA, TX, FL, IL, or OH.
  • Experience with SAP EPPM Suite (PS/PPM) for project scheduling, resource management, and asset-related financial tracking.
