The Role

Overview

Design, specify, and support instrumentation & control systems for industrial projects.

Tasks

-Conduct field investigations and provide support during construction, both in the office and on-site. -Work under the guidance of experienced engineers and designers in a collaborative, multi-discipline environment. -Support the development of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), control wiring diagrams, and system schematics. -Contribute to the preparation of contract drawings, bid packages, and technical documentation. -Collaborate with electrical engineers on tasks such as power distribution, motor control centers, and related electrical systems. -Assist in the design, specification, and implementation of instrumentation and control systems, including control panels, PLCs, instrumentation selection, and process automation. -Participate in drafting and design work using AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and/or Revit, with opportunities to learn and grow your skills in 2D and 3D/BIM design.

What You Bring

-Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. -Experience or coursework in industrial control systems, PLC programming, or instrumentation. -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. -Effective oral and written communication skills. -Familiarity with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit, or similar drafting/design tools. -EIT certification or eligibility. -Exposure to the National Electrical Code and industrial power systems.
