The Role

Overview

Manage janitorial staff, oversee cleaning operations, and address client concerns.

Tasks

-Manage and train the work of the janitorial staff in the building. -Complete training courses as required. -Respond to calls whenever needed. -Onboard and set-up training for all new employees (including hands-on training; job shadowing; etc.) -Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents. -Manage any employee relations or performance issues quickly and appropriately; Document and report to management or HR. -Review employee timekeeping to ensure compliance with timekeeping rule and complete payroll documents to ensure all employee time is paid correctly. -Identify and communicate the need for any special project work to management -Maintain cleaning supplies inventory. -Designate shift and area work assignments. -Respond quickly and appropriately to all customer concerns or complaints; take full responsibility to ensure the customer receives closure on all issues and inquiries;

What You Bring

-High integrity and discretion required -Ability to show judgment and to work independently. -Able to multi-task -Minimum 2 years progressively increasing management experience in the janitorial industry required. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Excellent attention to detail -Strong customer service skills -Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations. -Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred -Strong organizational skills
