Tasks

-Leads reviews and presentations for internal company design reviews and customer design reviews regarding simulator design. -Organize engineering efforts in assigned areas between specialty and other engineering groups or disciplines, with the client, suppliers, contractors, or other groups as required. -Develop the operator training simulator requirements. -Write simulator technical reports and testing reports. -Maintain simulator hardware and software. -Collaborate in planning, scheduling, and organization of detailed phases of engineering work. -Collaborate in the technical oversight and direction of internal or external design teams. -Facilitate and assist in the assessment of customer needs and captures requirements and functions of the electrical system for nuclear generating stations. -Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication. -Review subcontractor technical reports and other deliverables. -Recommend system design alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures from an assembly, transportation, construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and/or decommissioning perspective. -Execute simulator assignments with clear and specified objectives; utilizes conventional specification and/or Interface Control Documents and plans. -Develop/maintain plant simulation models. -Conduct the operator training simulator verification and validation activities. -Maintain simulator configuration control tools on GitLab.

What You Bring

-20+ years’ experience in operator training simulator development. -Excellent simulator software and hardware debugging capability. -Proficient experience in thermal-hydraulic simulation. -Excellent knowledge in nuclear power plant operations. -Familiar with distributed control system. -Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/nuclear/electrical engineering or related degree from an accredited institution.
