Communicate with Wanzek management regarding safety matters
Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Zero Injury principles
May assist with inputting and reviewing incident reports
Provide Safety Leadership creating enthusiasm and participation among management and craft workers, resulting in excellent safety performance
Ensure safety documentation is complete and accurate as required by Wanzek and regulations
Ensure sufficient supply of suitable inventory of PPE and safety equipment. Work with the Site Safety Lead to order more supplies as needed.
Understand and implement the site-specific emergency response plan
Coordinate and present safety training to support Wanzek and client requirements, including planning, documentation, and presentation. This may include: New Hire Orientation, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Lockout/Tagout, Respiratory, etc.
Assist in the execution of the jobsite safety plans
Complete drug screen collections as needed
Ensure PTPs, field audits, daily equipment inspections, SOPs and safety meetings are being conducted and entered into appropriate systems for tracking
May assist with pulling safety report information and putting together safety report detail documents for Safety Managers
