The Role

Overview

Manage engineering, M&E, housekeeping & facilities to ensure maintenance, compliance and cost efficiency.

Tasks

-Establish contacts with local authorities on the facility related issues and maintain the relationship. Responsible for all legal & authorities related compliances pertaining to facility & engineering systems. -Review the maintenance/service practices of HK & M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations. -Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements targets. -Will have responsibility for the management of a wide range of issues, from strategic Contracts management to input on day-to-day operations. -To achieve excellence in preventive maintenance programs at (Client) with highest standards and ensure energy conservation practices. -Responsible for planning a critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturer’s recommendations and inventory. -Establish Engineering & Operational procedures and roll out the same for site staff. -Plan and manage the budgets for Engineering, Soft & Operational contracts. -Responsible for development of all maintenance related schedules and shutdowns in consultation with Clients / OEMs. -Responsible for setting up the maintenance contracts to ensure the risk mitigation to the Client operations. -Periodically inspect the logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for a better management of Engineering systems. -Responsible for weekly & monthly reports on M&E, covering the maintenance contracts, spare parts consumption, Incident reports, Improvement projects etc. -Carry out Technical Audits and soft audits for all installations at periodical intervals. -Implement the Energy management programs to reduce the cost on utilities. -Manage M&E & Housekeeping scope of the projects to ensure the quality and deliverables with in the stipulated time. -Update and implement Emergency Response plan; drills etc as required -Plan & take responsibility for smooth operations of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing installations and Civil works pertaining to the facility. -To provide comprehensive facility, contract and procurement management for technical services to the client. -Work towards the ‘ZERO’ down time and set up the practices to ensure the delivery of seamless service to Clients. -Responsible for ensuring landlord’s compliance on availability of all statutory obligations such as CEIG, Fire, Lift, Explosives and stability certificate.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements. -Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement initiatives highly desirable. -Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems. -Complete knowledge of office electrical / UPS circuit, Air-conditioning / AHU, D.G Set operation, layouts etc. and ability to troubleshoot the same -Will be highly familiar with the service structure, including responses to requests for assistance on Facilities Management issues from Client staff and arrangements pertaining to all operating expenditures. -Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands. -Demonstrated experience with tendering and service improvement initiatives required. -Demonstrated experience with client reporting and preparation of reports required. -Good communication Skills. -Demonstrated experience with client reporting and preparation of reports -Well-groomed and presentable all the time. -Handle small renovation projects from initiation to completion. Little knowledge in Projects management is essential.
