Tasks

-Oversee day-to-day project tasks and ensure deadlines are met -Lead quality control processes and ensure design accuracy -Supporting cross-sector collaboration within Burnside -Identify new business opportunities and foster client relationships -Conducting site visits and attending client/agency meetings -Managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables across multiple offices -Prepare proposals, manage budgets, and lead business development efforts -Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and external agencies -Coordinating with internal teams to ensure efficient project execution -Producing detailed engineering designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D -Leading land development projects from concept to completion -Conduct invoicing and manage accounts receivable

What You Bring

-Minimum 5 years of design and project management experience -Excellent communication and leadership skills -Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and MS Project -PMP designation or formal project management training -Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 7–10 years of land development experience -Registered Professional Engineer (PEO) with 7+ years of licensure -Strong collaboration across departments and with external stakeholders -Strong knowledge of municipal and provincial review processes -Field services and contract administration expertise -Experience in subdivision design, SWM, flood plain modeling, water/sewer systems -Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle
