Tasks

-Assess labor requirements for each project to determine project feasibility -Evaluate potential profitability of electrical projects to support bidding decisions -Research market prices to estimate material and fixture costs for electrical projects accurately -Manage awarded projects and provide assistance in project management when not involved in estimating tasks -Review subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure accuracy in project cost estimation -Liaise with clients to understand project requirements, including pricing, invoicing, and project management tasks -Prepare and submit competitive project bids following established guidelines -This role entails full ownership of projects from initiation to completion, with a focus on enhancing cost-estimation methods to minimize disparities between projected and actual expenses -Analyze blueprints to determine optimal wire lengths and outlet placements adhering to electrical codes

What You Bring

-Ability to interpret blueprints accurately -Construction estimating: 5 years (Preferred) -Proven track record of quickly and efficiently pricing jobs -Success as the Commercial Electrical Estimator means accurately estimating costs for commercial electrical installations and efficiently managing projects from inception to completion -Preferably 3 years of estimating experience -Driver's License (Preferred) -Software used: McCormick, Bluebeam, Trimble -Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities -Sound knowledge of electrical codes
