Tasks
-Review and respond to RFIs, shop drawings, and contractor queries in coordination with the project team -Conduct regular site reviews and inspections to confirm compliance with contract documents, codes, and design intent -Identify and resolve construction and detailing challenges directly on site -Prepare detailed field review reports and track construction progress -Ensure BCBC compliance and adherence to municipal requirements throughout the construction process -Represent the Vancouver studio locally in Victoria, maintaining the firm’s high standards of professionalism and quality

What You Bring
-Registration with the AIBC or ASTTBC is an asset but not required -10+ years of architectural or technologist experience in Canada, with extensive involvement during the construction phase -Victoria-based only - no travel to Vancouver required -Clear and confident communicator with strong site presence and problem-solving ability -Proven technical expertise in building envelope detailing, construction assemblies, and contract administration -Based in Victoria, with the ability to regularly attend local project sites -A professional role well-suited for an experienced architect or technologist who values autonomy and meaningful project impact -Strong background in multi-family residential, mixed-use, or concrete high-rise projects
