Tasks
System Integration Project Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the success of the System Integration (SI) team. This position enhances team effectiveness by coordinating the technical, administrative, and financial details of projects, enabling engineers and technical specialists to focus on exceptional service delivery and technical excellence. -Support the preparation of project deliverables, including scopes of work, estimates, and interface documents (e.g., Design Basis Memorandum, Project Execution Plan, RACI charts, and progress reports). -Identify and help remove roadblocks affecting technical progress. -Maintain and track action item lists and meeting minutes from project meetings. -Participate in schedule reviews and assist in progress tracking. -Coordinate with the SI Manager to align project-specific resourcing. -Maintain and facilitate updates to project risk registers. -Coordinate and track management of change activities (scope changes, trends, and Design Change Notices). -Follow up with responsible parties to ensure timely completion of action items. -Review and prepare project status and performance reports. -Execute technical tasks that support System Integration initiatives. -Provide general coordination and administrative support for all project activities. -Support business development activities for the System Integration group, including proposal preparation. -Conduct business analytics and data analysis to support the development of digital twins and other smart asset initiatives.

What You Bring
-Experience with development or project management of Digital Twins for project execution and/or operations and maintenance -Proven understanding of how to read and interpret a basic engineering documentation -Experience with AVEVA Tools (e.g., Engineering, Instrumentation, Electrical, E3D, AIM, ERM, etc.) -Effective presentation and communication skills -Detail orientation and good organizational skills -Understanding of IT and cloud-based infrastructure -Proactive and client-focused, anticipating the needs of internal and external stakeholders -10 years’ related experience in engineering and design with a knowledge of engineering documentation required through project lifecycle -Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team comprised of engineers, designers, and project support personnel -Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied science with project execution experience including design, engineering, and supply chain management -Ability to quickly develop rapport with team members and clients -Ability to meet safety requirements to attend site visits across North America -Experience with Materials Management, including coordination of procurement, logistics, and material tracking within engineering or construction projects -Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal) -Strong knowledge of engineering terms and document types -Post secondary education in engineering, design, or project management -Minimum 5 years of experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a technical or engineering setting -Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
