Tasks

-Acknowledges incoming customers in a pleasant manner and provides product information, location, and general store knowledge. Directs customer to product pick-up point, if necessary. -Participates in annual physical inventory activities. -Keeps work area clean and neat. -Opens and closes-out till and accurately documents all transactions, makes accurate change, verifies credit cards and checks, and balances receipts. -Provides prompt and efficient telephone service. -Greets customers and receives payment; issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers; package customer purchases; thanks customers for their business. -Assists in pricing and stocking inventory, display preparation and maintenance, and maintains quality store presentation.

What You Bring

-Subject to both typical office environment and outside locations with temperature and weather variations. -Working knowledge in the use and operation of a cash register -Good mathematical aptitude -Good verbal and written communication skills -Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds. -Ability to be detailed oriented -Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures. -Strong customer service skills both face-to-face and telephone
