CAT Parts Sourcing Specialist

Overview

Source and expedite CAT parts, manage procurement, resolve supply constraints.

Tasks

-Monitor stock, consolidate emergency orders, and maintain accurate records. -Expedite emergency orders considering vendor timelines, transportation, and costs. -Ensure compliance with safety and company policies while representing Finning professionally. -Collaborate with branches, planners, and supply chain teams to resolve constraints. -Order parts from Caterpillar and non-Cat suppliers to meet customer delivery requirements. -Investigate inventory issues and recommend process improvements. -Provide backup support during high-volume periods or absences.

What You Bring

-3+ years combined experience in either a post-secondary education in Operations Management, Supply Chain, related field or relevant job experience. -Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with heavy equipment is an asset. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. -Based out of our Edmonton head office. -Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel) and experience with MRP systems (Lawson preferred).
