The Role

Overview

Perform plastering and multi‑trade repairs in homes, ensuring quality and customer service.

Tasks

-Maintain van stock and order materials responsibly. -Maximise first-time fix rates and productivity. -Attend training, toolbox talks, and appraisals as required. -Adhere to all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) policies, procedures, and safe working practices. -Ensure company property and equipment are well-maintained. -Contribute to continuous improvement and team collaboration. -Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and customers. -Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring positive outcomes for residents. -Complete plastering and associated multi-trade repairs to a high standard and quality.

What You Bring

-Quality of workmanship and post-inspection results. -Good and relevant health and safety knowledge. -Efficient use of materials and van stock. -Ideally educated to GCSE or equivalent levels. -Experience working in occupied homes. -Accurate and timely job reporting. -Good communication and problem-solving skills. -Strong commitment to customer service excellence. -Eye tests -Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively. -Full clean driving licence. -First Aid Training. -Good knowledge of NHF schedule of rates. -Compliance with SHEQ standards and training requirements. -Experience working under time constraints. -Experience and training on working with non-licensed asbestos. -High customer satisfaction scores and low complaint rates. -Good general all-round trade and construction knowledge & experience. -High attention to detail and quality. -Basic IT literacy for using handheld devices and job systems. -NVQ Level 2 or higher in a Construction trade, or C&G 6219-07: Multi-skills.
