The Role
Overview
Supports project team with documentation, purchasing, inventory, and coordination tasks.

Tasks
-Develops and creates reporting for Min/Max levels, material demand, forecast and budget purposes. -Responsible for the material purchasing process including issuing POs, determining appropriate timing of material orders (ensuring best price while meeting job needs), and purchase tracking (ensuring in-time delivery). -Supports all company policies, procedures and initiatives related to project success; -Manages inventory for specific jobs by communicating with Supervisors and staging materials from each job’s pick list. -Acts as backup to other project personnel (either within the same project or assisting with other projects) as directed; -Communicates inventory needs to the Supply Chain Manager. -Develops, maintains and updates project documentation; -Occasionally stand and/or walk -Orders and coordinates project supplies to arrive on time and at the correct location. -Operate a computer, telephone or other office equipment -Maintains location(s) inventory list by allocating inventory to individual jobs and tracking inventory changes using a scanner, computer and/or inventory system software. -Develops and maintains effective and complete project files (physical and/or electronic); -Aids in holding employees and subcontractors accountable to appropriate documentation of inventory as it is taken and returned to designated yards/warehouses. -Performs various program tasks as assigned by project leadership; -Receives new material shipments and verifies order content and completeness. -Participates in any required continuous training;

What You Bring
-Ability to read and comprehend various written and data driven correspondence including but not limited to production reports, project work orders, prints, etc; -Frequent use of sight (specifically, close to perform computer work), hearing and voice -Use of hands, arms, and fingers to perform routine and repetitive tasks -Valid Driver’s license. -Familiarity with Inventory tracking systems and hardware. -Moderate noise consistent with computers, phones and printers -Occasionally bend, squat, kneel or twist -Light to moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs) -Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. -Basic math skills including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units of measure and using whole numbers, fractions and decimals; -Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum guidance; -Associates degree in an industry related field or equivalent combination of education and experience; -Basic computer operating and data entry skills; -Strong written and verbal communication; -Experience with basic computer software systems including but not limited to Database, Internet, Spreadsheet, Word Processing, e-mail and PDF creation; Google and excel application experience is strongly preferred;
