Machine Operator - Weekend Day Shift

Overview

Operate rubber injection molding machines on weekend day shift.

Tasks

-Keep track of approved, defective units and final product -Ensure shift change is completed forms are completed with accurate and appropriate information. -Prepare and maintain accurate production records and follow standard operating procedures. -Avoids or prevents hazardous conditions from developing. -Bend, twist & turn in a safe manner -Maintain pre-determined efficiency, standards, and productivity rates. -Ensure quality operation of the process, perform quality checks and controls, including adherence to cleaning and maintenance. -Participates in plant safety objectives. -Implement and ensure compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned areas. -Can work a weekend schedule as needed. -Keeps work area clean and orderly and maintains Lean 5S. -Responsible for all aspects of molding operations, i.e., work instructions, standard operating procedures, and revision control -Wear appropriate protective equipment as required, dress and conducts self in a safe manner.

What You Bring

-Understands and follows plant safety and procedures. -Prior manufacturing experience or quality control experience Preferred -Ability to speak and write in clear English communications -Ability to lift to 40lbs and perform push/pull functions -Understand and follow plant safety and procedures. -Strong math skills -Lift up to 40 Pounds -Ability to read and understand various written instructions in English -Good hand dexterity -High School diploma/GED is required -Can work overtime to meet Business Objectives
