Payroll Assistant

Overview

Assist with biweekly payroll processing and related HR tasks on a part-time basis.

Tasks

-Maintain payroll records and files -Assist with state withholding and unemployment registrations -Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll -Assist with resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll queries -Assist with processing biweekly payroll -Maintain employee records in the payroll system through accurate data entry, including position, salary, benefits, and tax withholding changes -Assist with year-end payroll processing

What You Bring

-Minimum of three years of payroll or payroll tax experience -Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. -Multi-state and multi-company experience is a plus -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Strong mathematical and analytical skills -Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Proficient in Microsoft Office -Detail-oriented mindset
