Tasks

Deliver end-to-end servicing of two-way radio systems, including analogue, DMR, TETRA, and P25 networks Install, test and commission radio networks, IP systems, CCTV, PAGA, telephony, and associated infrastructure Contribute to continuous improvement, toolbox meetings, safety procedures, and internal training programs Maintain detailed service records, compliance documentation, and ensure workshop tools and vehicles are field-ready As a Senior Service Technician at CSE Crosscom, you'll play a vital role in supporting and maintaining mission-critical communications systems across a wide range of industries — including mining, emergency services, transport, utilities, and more. You'll be out in the field, working hands-on with cutting-edge radio technologies like DMR, TETRA, P25, and a variety of IP-based networks, as well as CCTV, telephony, and PAGA systems. Troubleshoot and repair equipment faults across diverse environments – both in the field and in-house Configure and program radio equipment, including maintenance of code plugs and firmware updates Conduct site assessments and surveys, prepare implementation plans, and produce detailed reports Mentor apprentices and junior team members, helping develop a capable, agile and responsive workforce

What You Bring

Experience with telephony, CCTV, UPS, access control, PA systems, and more Strong troubleshooting skills & calm under pressure Confidence working at heights, with EWP or tower climbing (current high-risk licence required) Knowledge of ACMA regulations Certificate III or higher in Electronics, RF Engineering or similar Hands-on experience with radio spectrum, P25, TETRA, DMR, and networked systems
