Tasks

-Develop software in conjunction with engineering team to simulate defensive systems. -Lead software development teams. -Use configuration management tools such as GIT, Gitlab, or DevOps as part of the software development process. -Optimize software for run-time performance. -Perform software testing. -Use Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD), DEVSECOPs, and Agile processes to meet development goals. -Develop containers and Kubernetes for software deployments. -Lead simulation framework activities including development of APIs.

What You Bring

-Experience with GIT, Gitlab, or DevOps (or similar) required. -Computer science degree from accredited university. -10-20 years of experience. -Experience with containerization and Kubernetes required. -Linux and Windows software development environments experience. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers. -Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance. -Experience with missile defense systems is highly desirable. -Experience in physics-based models and simulations preferred. -Programming experience in Python and C/C++.
