Tasks

-Promotes EHS awareness and fosters this awareness throughout the company, project, or office -Participates in monitoring and controlling EHS standards -Gathers information and correlates data as directed -Refines working knowledge of EHS programs by applying EHS procedures -Directs and administers specific functions of the EHS program at the company or project level -Assist/conducts surveys, evaluations, inspections, and investigations of incidents and activities as directed by supervision -Prepares, maintains, and retrieves records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate or regulatory requirements, including monitoring application of EHS standards -Creates, evaluates, educates, and administers the EHS program for all levels of employees -Direct and supervise the activities of subordinates when requested to do so -Develop and maintain project safety files

What You Bring

-Holder of an OSHA 30 hour certificate -Basic math/statistic & accounting skills -Strong written and verbal communication skills in English -Holder of CHST Certification -Excellent decision-making/problem-solving skills -Good understanding of Pre Task Planning -Understanding of construction and general industry -Computer knowledge and efficiency, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office products -Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times -Able to perform field training when needed -Licensed Site Safety Manager or Site Safety Coordinator -Five (5) years of continuous construction industry safety experience in supervising/ managing general construction (managing safety programs or processes or conducting hazard analyses and developing controls)
