Tasks

Reporting to the Light Fleet Manager, the Light Fleet Coordinator will support the light fleet requirements throughout the various sectors within the Ocean Capital group of companies. This role supports the management and maintenance of the light fleet by coordinating preventative service schedules, ensuring accurate documentation in fleet systems, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to reduced downtime. -Collaborate with fleet analyst, and other members of mobile assets group -Ensure workorders are opened and closed, and relevant systems are maintained and accurate -Provide overall support to the Light Fleet Manager -Plan service intervals, and coordinate with operational stakeholders -Monitor preventative maintenance schedules for assigned vehicles -Foster good working relationships with key vendors and suppliers -Embrace, champion and drive the department's commitment of "available for use"

What You Bring

-Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently -Proficiency in Microsoft Office -Minimal travel required -Prior experience within the transportation industry, preferably within the area of maintenance planning / scheduling -Strong customer service skills -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills -Candidate should have a valid class 5 driver’s license, for occasional movement of vehicles in the Saint John area -Post secondary education (college diploma or equivalent) in a related field -Technical aptitude and understanding of equipment and mobile assets
