Tasks

-Incident Management: Lead investigations of accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; develop and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. -Training & Development: Design and deliver safety training programs to employees at all levels, promoting awareness and competence in safety practices. -Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and engineering, to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of operations. -Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety; report on safety performance to senior management and stakeholders. -Safety Audits & Inspections: Plan and execute regular safety audits and inspections; monitor compliance and drive corrective actions for continuous improvement. -Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans; conduct drills and training to ensure readiness for potential emergencies. -Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable safety regulations and standards, ISO 45001, and local statutory requirements. -Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct thorough hazard identification and risk assessments; implement effective control measures to mitigate identified risks.

What You Bring

-Experience in implementing Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) programs. -Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams; strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. -Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), NEBOSH, or equivalent. -Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and safety management systems. -Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. -Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing safety data, identifying trends, and implementing datadriven improvements. -Familiarity with advanced safety technologies and digital tools for safety management. -Proven track record of reducing incident rates and improving safety culture.
