Tasks

-Lead and manage the delivery of the civil engineering and utility design scope of site development projects -Represent Arup at client meetings, offering expert advice and developing innovative solutions. -Be responsible for producing designs, drawings, 3D models, specifications and reports on time and within budget. -Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

What You Bring

-Awareness of the Irish regulatory and planning framework, together with experience of managing site infrastructure projects through the planning process. -Must have chartered professional status, or similar recognised qualification. -Experience managing internal and external design interfaces e.g., architectural, structural, geotechnical, landscape, mechanical and electrical. -Experience leading and directing teams in a digital/BIM environment, co-ordinating civil services with those of other disciplines. -Degree qualified in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years’ experience within a consultancy environment. -Highly experienced in the use of BIM (Civil 3D and/or Revit) to deliver coordinated site infrastructure designs as part of a multi-discipline project environment. -Experience with InfoDrainage or similar hydraulic modelling software. -Ability to technically lead and manage the design process on site infrastructure projects from conceptual layout to detailed design and construction. -Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and organisational skills. -Experience liaising with Uisce Eireann, Utility Companies and Local Authorities. -Strong site infrastructure technical design skills (surface water, foul, water, roads and carparks, earthworks, underground utility services coordination). -Proven track record in project delivery of large-scale site infrastructure projects.
