Engineering placement working on water projects (dams, supply, flood)

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Design: working closely with your manager and peers in the design phase of projects. This will involve creating and modifying drawings using CAD software, producing calculations, and design tasks. -Project Management Support: assist in project-related tasks like research, data gathering, and preparing reports. -Collaboration & Communication: meetings with clients, contractors, and other professionals to discuss project requirements, progress, and challenges. -Field Visits: We will provide site visit opportunities to gain practical experience. This could involve conducting site surveys, inspections and shadowing experienced engineers carrying out supervision.

What You Bring

-Basic computer skills essential (Word/Excel) and good report writing skills beneficial. -Communicate effectively to internal and external clients, both verbally & in writing. -Ability to work independently without losing initiative & focus. -Studying toward a BEng in Civil or Civil and Environmental Engineering Degree -Structure & prioritise work effectively through close cooperation with the team as a whole.
