They're currently seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support the Project Managers and Superintendents in delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget.

As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in the planning and execution of commercial construction projects. You'll work closely with the project management team, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless communication, quality control, and documentation throughout the construction lifecycle.

  • Track and update project schedules and budgets
  • Assist Project Managers with RFI, submittal, and change order processes
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance
  • Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates
  • Maintain and organize project documentation including plans, specifications, meeting minutes, and logs
  • Support the preparation of project closeout documentation
  • Facilitate communication between field and office teams to resolve issues promptly
  • Conduct field walks with superintendents and assist with quality control and safety compliance

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • OSHA 10/30 certification
  • 1–3 years of experience in commercial construction (internships or co-ops considered)
  • Familiarity with South Orange County building codes and permitting processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)
  • Experience in ground-up commercial builds and tenant improvements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
