Tasks

-Coordinate and collaborate with other AHRI departments to achieve AHRI objectives -Assist in the preparation of high-quality comments, presentations, testimony, and other advocacy materials -Assist with analysis of building codes, fire codes, energy codes, and other rulemaking, as well as state and local codes, to determine the impacts to AHRI members -Monitor regulatory activities to identify those most likely to result in regulation on energy efficiency and environmental issues -Maintain rosters of various committees, working groups, and task forces supporting assigned activities to ensure timely communications with members -Research, track, and analyze proposed or emerging federal, state, and local regulation to determine the impact on the Association’s policy agenda in the areas of energy efficiency and the environment. -Assist in staffing AHRI committees, working groups and task forces, as assigned -Perform research on and assist with writing public comments in response to regulatory rulemaking proposals -Prepare draft agendas, take minutes, and maintain records of activities
