The Project Scheduler supports data center construction and infrastructure projects by developing, maintaining, and tracking project schedules to ensure timely delivery. This role works closely with project managers, design teams, engineers, and contractors to coordinate milestones, resources, and critical activities essential to data center deployment and operations.

  • Track and report on key milestones such as equipment deliveries, installation, commissioning, and go-live readiness.
  • Participate in project planning meetings, design coordination sessions, and construction reviews.
  • Work with project managers, general contractors, and trade partners to gather progress data and validate schedule accuracy.
  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules for data center design, construction, and commissioning phases using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Support resource planning and work sequencing to ensure efficient coordination of multiple concurrent data center builds.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all schedule updates, revisions, and approvals.
  • Assist with risk identification and mitigation planning to ensure schedule reliability.
  • Integrate vendor and subcontractor schedules into the master project schedule.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly schedule reports, milestone updates, and variance analyses.
  • Identify critical path activities, potential delays, and recovery plans to maintain project timelines.

  • Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement schedules.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, construction documents, and vendor schedules.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other recognized scheduling tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling and construction sequencing.
  • Certifications such as PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional).
  • Experience with data center infrastructure (MEP systems, power, cooling, networking).
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and project performance tracking.
  • 3+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within data centers, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
