Tasks

-Development, installation, configuration and testing of Mission Planning software products.Provide effective Level 1, 2 and 3 application support to ensure all mission systems are working and meet the operational needs of users -Software testing, including unit testing. -Technical support to the development, introduction to service, sustainment and evolution of software and hardware, data, tools and processes in fixed and deployed environments for ADF mission planning systems. -Reviewing, verifying, and improving Technical, Engineering and Cyber Security documentation produced in support of Mission Planning System development and sustainment. -Meet assigned tasks within Project deliverables. Identifying and managing Program and technical risks and issues within the support to operations scope. -Provide user, data and application support on Defence strategic networks -Identifying and managing program and technical risks and issues within the support to operations scope. -Technical input to the development of solutions to resolve issues with data support for Mission Planning Systems. -Develop, manage, and maintain software, hardware and system configurations for Mission Planning Systems.

What You Bring

-Microsoft Windows Server Administration -Database Administration (and Development) experience using Microsoft SQL Server products. -Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating System security -Microsoft based Software Scripting e.g. PowerShell and Batch. -Microsoft Office product knowledge and experience -Administrative level understanding of Microsoft Windows based Operating Systems – Windows 10 & Windows 11. -Defence ICT Security Accreditation -MSI Packaging – Creation of and Transforming - Experience with products such as Admin Studio or Advanced Installer -Administrative level knowledge of Enterprise Mobile Device Management software.Administrative level knowledge of iOS operating system and mobile devices. -Experience in software development environments. -Working knowledge of Aviation Mission Planning and knowledge of AC-C2CS environment -Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager – Application definition, deployment and monitoring -Microsoft Windows Imaging -Enterprise-level Recovery and Backup Tools. -A workplace culture certified as a Great Place To Work (Aus, India, UK & US) -Administrative level knowledge of hypervisor technologies – e.g. VMWare and Hyper-V.Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator, or similar Enterprise-level security management platforms.
