Assist with transportation design, specifications, cost estimates, and construction inspection.

Tasks

-Prepare roadway and highway plans, specifications, and cost estimates -Document field progress and quantities for contractor payment -Monitor contractor schedules -Assist senior engineers within a large multi-disciplinary design team -Perform periodic on-site construction inspection/observation -Prepare structural bridge plans, specifications, and cost estimates

What You Bring

-Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role -Minimum of 1 year of coursework completed -Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related program required; focus in Transportation Engineering preferred -Proficiency in organization and presentation of documentation -It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment. An employer who violates this law shall be subject to criminal penalties and civil liability. -Computer skills in Microsoft Office. AutoCAD or MicroStation design software is preferred -Minimum 3.0 GPA
