- Performs structural analysis and design of bridges and other structures using industry-standard analysis and design software programs
- Assists in preparing and modifying reports, studies, preliminary designs, and detailed designs with all phases of bridge design
- Plan creation, design, and checking for conventional bridge projects
- Assists in the preparation of quantity take-offs/calculations, preconstruction unit cost development, and cost estimates/engineer’s estimates for projects

- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
- Possess Engineer in Training or Professional Engineer license
- Proven technical writing and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including organization and attention to detail
- Have working knowledge in design of concrete, steel, concrete masonry, and timber as well as spread and pile foundations and retaining/sheet pile walls
- Have working knowledge using MicroStation and LEAP bridge design software
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in bridge design
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for this position
- Have working knowledge of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
