Production Technician

Overview

Operate and develop production processes for photochromic dyes, OLED materials, and coatings.

Tasks

-The position involves blending, measuring, and producing raw materials to manufacture industrial coatings. -Collaborate effectively with variety of people with minimal supervision. -Running reactions/purifications according to batch sheet. -You will work in a production environment with a high level of safety awareness and adhere to all appropriate safety procedures in place. -Modify batch sheets and other procedures as needed.

What You Bring

-Chemical and manufacturing experience preferred. -Strong problem solving, initiative, and knowledge of PC applications. -Production and scale experience in a similar plant or laboratory environment. -Exposure to some inorganic and organic college chemistry lab experience preferred. -Mechanical aptitude and high level of safety awareness. -Interpersonal skills, interact with all levels of organization, and able to work in a team environment. -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day. -Ability to work overtime as needed. -Must be able to stand, bend, crouch, kneel throughout the day, use basic tools, operate a Forklift or ability to learn to do so, and climb ladders to reach equipment/parts/storage. -Attention to detail and documentation skills and excellent organizational and communication skills. -High School diploma or equivalent.
