Operational Technology Engineer

Tasks

-Provide engineering and technical support to project and construction teams throughout all project phases. -Participate in periodic field activities such as construction quality control and design compliance checks. -Develop, update, and document engineering standards, work processes, and maintenance instructions using tools such as Visio and AutoCAD. -Support compliance initiatives related to NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) requirements, including annual drawing reviews. -Act as the primary contact for project tracking, reporting, and coordination with stakeholders. -Coordinate with internal business units, vendors, and external partners to align on design requirements and ensure timely deliverables. -Manage OT Services components for Generation Capital projects from design through implementation, ensuring quality and technical compliance. -Design and integrate Industrial Control System (ICS) devices into Generation LAN environments.

What You Bring

-Experience with NERC CIP standards and compliance processes is an asset. -Familiarity with digital sign and seal technologies (e.g., Notarius) preferred. -Registered or immediately eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC). -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. -Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear process diagrams and reports. -Proficiency with AutoCAD, Visio, and standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). -Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering experience, ideally involving operational or industrial networking, cyber asset management, or control system design.
