Survey Technician

Overview

Assist in land surveying operations, data collection, processing, and analysis.

Tasks

-Set up and operate total stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, levels, drones, and other surveying instruments in a fashion consistent with accepted rules and practices. -Maintain detailed and accurate field notes. -Assist in boundary document research at courthouses. -Perform basic calculations from field note data, and read, interpret and use topographic maps and design drawings -Assist in topographic, boundary and site survey tasks. -Download and process raw data from field instruments -Assist in construction layout and data collection
