What You Bring

-Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) -Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering preferred. -Internship in the structural design of bridges and/or buildings and similar structures preferred. -Successful completion of the following: structural/bridge engineering course work (preferred): Prestressed Design, Reinforced Concrete Design, Steel Design, Structural Dynamics or Earthquake Engineering, Foundation Design, Timber Design. -Experience with computer analysis software systems including AutoCAD, PGSuper, Risa 3D, MathCAD, and Bluebeam Revu (preferred) -Experience working as part of a multi-discipline design team (preferred) -Excellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skills -Experience with AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and any Department of Transportation (WSDOT, IDT or ODOT) bridge design, bridge standard details, bridge design manuals or construction standards and protocols (preferred) -45 years in business -0-3 years of experience -A four-year degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with an emphasis in bridge engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited university -Self-motivated and eager to learn.
