Tasks
-Maintaining active architectural licenses in areas of IF&B business -Conducting Code analysis -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Coordinating with other disciplines on projects -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Leading technical design, guiding production staff on design and enforcing Kiewit / IF&B design and aesthetic standards -Reviewing standards / details, assisting in their creation -Managing the architectural aspects of a project from start to finish, including directing staff regarding deliverables -Resolving open technical issues for project closeout -Mentoring less experienced staff -Supervising and leading preparation of Construction Documents

What You Bring
-Experience and/or interest in sustainable design. LEED, WEDG and / or Envision professionals highly desired -Excellent interpersonal skills, used for personnel management, performance reviews, career development, and coordination of personnel resources as required by project needs -Demonstrated graphic presentation skills -Prior experience in oversight of architecture in the construction of transportation facilities -Experience preparing architectural details -Regular, reliable attendance -Experience preparing and documenting required Code compliance and material and product research -Ability to proactively lead and guide the production of construction documents for major infrastructure facility projects including effectively communicating the criteria to the project team and monitoring its compliance through the QC program -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment -Knowledge of visualization tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, 3-D Studio Max, Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper) and processes a plus -Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Project Management and Scheduling software -Registered Architect with a minimum 15 years of experience designing and leading major infrastructure facilities and/or architecture projects in the eastern US and nationally -Project experience in all phases of architectural projects, from conceptual design through final construction completion and owner occupation -Experience with Design-Build and Progressive Design-Build project delivery methods -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Highly proficient in the use of BIM and CAD platforms, including Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, and familiarity with related tools and processes -Verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write technical memos and papers, present technical topics and respond to requests and needs from other technical practices within Kiewit
