Tasks

-Use quality systems such as AIMS and Global 8D for issue tracking, root cause analysis, and effective resolution. -Manage projects from concept to production, coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams across design, testing, and manufacturing. -Apply reliability and robustness tools (FMEA, RRCL, P-Diagrams) to ensure high-quality, durable designs. -Utilize WERS, Digital Buck, and eFDVS for component release, 3D design review, and performance validation. -Support prototype and pre-production builds, addressing technical issues promptly and ensuring readiness for mass production. -Develop and validate designs using Ford-specific tools such as Design Rules, SDS, and Attachment A, ensuring alignment with global standards. -Lead the design and development of brake system components, ensuring compliance with safety, performance, cost, and timing requirements. -Collaborate with global engineering teams to ensure consistent design practices and continuous process improvement.

What You Bring

-Excellent leadership, communication, and global coordination skills. -Strong knowledge of brake systems, GD&T, CAE tools, and manufacturing processes. -Strong in project management, Six Sigma, DFMEA/PFMEA, and GPDS processes. -Skilled in validation, verification, and continuous design improvement. -Proven team leadership and decision-making ability. -Bachelor’s in Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in brakes or chassis design.
