Finance Analyst supporting construction projects with budgeting, reporting, and analysis

Tasks

-Develop and maintain budget and cost reports and earned value analyses. -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Assist in client billing and revenue collection. -Drive continuous improvement throughout the organization and be a proponent for positive change. -Collaboration: Interface with project teams and the finance team to ensure financial accuracy and project success. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Analyze and effectively communicate financial results of projects to management. -Earn trust, credibility, and buy-in of processes from the Operations team to create better cohesion and clear communication within the organization. -Effectively use the right data, reports, and tools for risk analysis and benchmarking. -Assist project team with the development of project procedures. -Assist in the tracking of project change orders and development of projections.

Demonstrates a strong aptitude for learning and adapting to new challenges and opportunities. -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or an equivalent degree. -Effective communication (both oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -High level of professionalism and standards. -3-5 years of financial/data analysis or public accounting experience. -Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. -Regular, reliable attendance -Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite required. -Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities. -SAP and PowerBI experience preferred.
