Machine Specialist - 1st Shift

Overview

Operate and adjust cutting machines, ensure quality, perform maintenance, and train staff.

Tasks

-Performs all cleaning requirements necessary to meet specifications. -Associate Purchase Program on All Fortune Brands Products -Trains and helps personnel processes. -Adjusts machine to produce parts within tolerance and maintain scrap at acceptable levels. -Change saw blades and adjust depth of cut where necessary. -Perform quality checks using caliper and tape measure or check gauge. -Maintain all documentation that is required. -Lubricate machine and tooling per preventative maintenance schedule or as needed. -Enter production orders into controller. -Inspects quality of parts for dimensional accuracy, camber, bow, and scratches. -Performs tooling changeovers. -Perform job requirements and operate equipment within safety guidelines and reports any nonconformance.
