Overview

Design, evaluate and analyze highway/railroad/pedestrian bridges and structures.

Tasks

-Work in cooperation with bridge staff to deliver PS&E contract documents on time and within the project budget for local agencies, federal agencies and state DOTs -Design, evaluate, and analyze highway/railroad/pedestrian bridges/other transportation structures -Prepare designs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and specifications -Perform or check bridge designs using CSi Bridge, MIDAS, VBent, PG Super, LEAP, BRASS, Mathcad, and/or other bridge software -Assist in building a strong regional presence for the firm in transportation and structural engineering -Design or check retaining wall and other structural components in support of roadway or site civil projects

What You Bring

-Experience working in bridge design teams a plus -4 to 8 years of experience -Registered PE license -Solid understanding of transportation projects -Design Build and Alternative Delivery experience a plus -Willingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices, some travel required--<20% -B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
