Tasks

BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Technical Writer to join our client’s site in Indianapolis, IN. This role will support quality and documentation initiatives by translating science, regulations, and requirements into concise and user-relevant Quality Management System (QMS) documents. The position involves collaborating across teams, creating and maintaining document templates, and leading the implementation of a new AI-driven technical writing program to improve document quality and efficiency. -Manage project timelines, coordinate a team to develop training curricula, and provide regular updates to sponsors. -Collaborate with subject matter experts and team members to produce relevant content. -Integrate AI by developing prompts, leveraging AI for repetitive tasks, and creating training strategies for AI-based tools. -Lead the implementation of a new technical writing initiative from planning through execution. -Co-create and maintain documentation, including master documents and templates. -Contribute to process improvement through discussions and knowledge sharing. -Define and implement “good writing” standards for QMS documents.

What You Bring

Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered -Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Drive, Sheets). -Education: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, or a technical discipline, or in journalism/communication with a focus on life sciences. -Strong background in technical writing for Quality-controlled documents in the pharmaceutical/biotechnological industry. -Experience using AI as a collaborative partner. -Competence in using templates and enthusiasm for technology. -Excellent communication skills and English fluency. -Strong leadership and project management abilities for managing timelines and stakeholder communication. -Ability to train and coach others. -Experience developing clear prompts for AI content creation and using AI for outlining and proofreading tasks. -Experience: At least three years of professional technical writing experience.
