The Role

Overview

Design water/wastewater pumping, pipeline systems and assist construction admin.

Tasks

-Assist with Construction Administration including shop drawing reviews and field inspections -Create detailed designs of water and wastewater pumping systems, pressurized pipelines and gravity pipelines under instruction from the Project Engineer and Project Manager -Prepare plans for pipelines and pumping stations, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater distribution and collection systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and work collaboratively with the owner design team members

What You Bring

-Ability to demonstrate adept writing skills -Experience with GIS -Proficiency in technical report writing -Experience with AutoCAD, Google Earth, and/or ArcGIS -Must be able to work in a team environment -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field -Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate -Interest and experience designing water/wastewater pumping and conveyance systems -Microsoft Office experience -Experience with hydraulic calculations for pump and/or pipeline sizing -AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience -Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities
